100% ecological trips to Lisbon have come to Sport Lisboa e Benfica

The Red Tours project was born of the passion of five friends, proud of the history and evolution of their club. The tour service is led by the female force of Marta Ceitil, aboard an ecological Mehari, 100% electric.

From Franco Pharmacy in Belém, passing through the old Secretariat in the Regidor Garden, to the Marquês de Pombal Square, to the old mythical fields where, since 1904, Benfiquismo has been built, this novelty allows its passengers to travel through places that have marked the history of their Glorious. On board, you can access all the memorable moments interactively, with a tablet and videos created in four different languages (Portuguese, English, Spanish and French). The tourism company is licensed by Sport Lisboa e Benfica and intends to extend the experience of football to its fans, allowing them to know the club that unites them and to love them, but also to test the knowledge of the most loyal hearts. Remember, in the hitchhike of a mystical trip, an unforgettable experience, already realized by some historical figures of the club, like Toni and Nuno Gomes.

João Pais, one of the partners of the company, explains that the Red Tours project “was born when I realized that there was a lack of organization in the Benfica universe that would show where Benfica had existed in Lisbon.” For Joao Pais, one of the main points of interest is the passage through the Franco Pharmacy: “I began to notice that when we sang in our stadium ‘Franco Pharmacy’, there were many benfiquistas who had never visited the place, nor did they know where it was, and I thought it would be interesting to take them where it all started. ”

Its launch has three options available, from Monday to Sunday, except December 25 and January 1: the Glorious Tour, with an hour and a cost of € 60, Tour 1904, with two hours duration and a value of € 80 and the Mythical Fields tour, with an hour and a half of duration and a cost of € 70. Prices are per tour, regardless of the number of people.
