The festival of Fado with the presence of consecrated names such as Helder Moutinho, Cuca Rosetta and Giséla João
The first edition of the Fado Food Fest was held in Amora, Seixal, a festival that brought together Fado with Portuguese food and drink. On the first day, there were performances by Helder Moutinho, Ana Laíns and Cuca Roseta, who gave the audience a performance memorable as previously reported.
On the second day, we started a little after the scheduled time, but that was for a good cause, Portugal’s victory in the League of Nations. We had the performance of Diamantina Rodrigues, local fadista who quickly had the support and interaction of the public present, on a pleasant night.
Stereosauro followed, with the collaboration of some names of Portuguese music, presented a fusion between electronic music and fado, in an exhibition with a lot of colour and image.
The night ended with Giséla João, the fadista took the audience, who in large numbers was present to see, sing and dance with the successes that the Portuguese singer presented on the stage of the Fado Food Fest.
Also present were several small shops with Portuguese food, wines, beers and desserts, to delight those present.
The festival has already presented an excellent group of artists, and the public has already joined in a great number for the first edition, and for a unique festival in the national panorama, surely the next edition will be even bigger and better.
