Arevo is a manufacturer from California that is launching the first bicycle in the world with the frame printed in 3D as a single piece entirely made from carbon fiber.
Superstrata has two different models, but both with the frame built the same way with the same features. The classic Terra model is priced at $ 2,799, about 2,500 euros; and the Ion electric model, which is extremely light but powerful, is priced at $ 3,999, close to 3,500 euros.
The frame of both models was built as a single piece, where no seams or weld marks are visible.
Each copy of these bikes can be printed according to the cyclist’s dimensions.
There are more than 500 thousand settings related to height, weight, arm and leg length. In addition, the position that the cyclist prefers as well as the level of rigidity of the structure is also taken into account.
The Ion electric model features a 250 watt motor and weighs just 11 kg. Its battery allows a range of 96 km on a single charge, being able to ride at a maximum speed of 32 km/h.
