A play about Cazuza will be exhibited at Matosinhos-Constantino Nery Municipal Theater

The play “A Cara da Morte Estava Viva” (“The Face of Death Was Alive”), created by the Experimental Theater of Porto on the Brazilian musician Cazuza (1958-1990), opens Friday at the Municipal Theater of Matosinhos-Constantino Nery.

Between the interpretation of songs and moments of direct speech to the public, among others, there is a discussion that extends, also to the theme ‘queer’ and the question of age.

The show goes to Constantino Nery at 21:30 on Friday and Saturday, marking the start of the last months of the year, the Municipal Theater of Matosinhos.

This month also passes by his stage “A Matança Ritual de Gorge Mastromas“, by Dennis Kelly, staged by Tiago Guedes and Bruno Nogueira, on the 19th and 20th, and also “Do Bosque Para Mundo“, a youth play by Inês Barahona and staging of Miguel Fragata, on the 27th and 28th.
