On December 1 there is a decade to celebrate.
The Adegga WineMarket Lisboa arrives in Marvila on December 1 with 70 producers, 500 wines, six Chefs and many novelties to try out with SmartWineGlass. In the year in which the 10-year commemorations of the project start, the Adegga team presents new features in the program and focuses on highlighting a region and some of its reference wines: the Tejo Wine Region is the first region to be invited for the event.
The Adegga WineMarket is the only event where it is possible to buy all the wines in the event and in which visitors only have to choose what they want to receive at home: if the ticket ‘Proof’ gives access to the 500 wines present, allows the same experience with the possibility of transforming the value of the entrance (40,00 euros) in wines delivered to the indicated address.
Try organic, rising and rising wines
In the year-end edition, the event focuses on the segmentation of experiences and presents the Adegga Ânfora – a space dedicated to wines with stage or fermentation in clay amphoras or carvings – and the Adegga Bio, which highlights the biological, biodynamic, sustainable wines and natural gifts at the event. For the more curious, the Adegga Rising Stars announces new projects and enologists on the rise, counting with confirmations such as Álvaro Martinho (Douro), Arribas Wine Company (Trás-os-Montes), Herdade da Anta de Cima (Alentejo) Hugo Mendes (Lisbon), Portugal Boutique Winery (Douro), Rosa da Mata (Dão) and Titan of Douro (Douro) and Vale dos Ares (Monção and Melgaço).
Tejo is the first Region invited and ascends to the Adegga Stage
For the first time, the Adegga WineMarket invites a region of wines to show some of their references in a space within the event. The Tejo wines invite 14 producers to present a selection of wines with different profiles. Two commented competitions – ‘The whites of Fernão Pires do Tejo’ and ‘Três Terroirs do Tejo’ – go up to the Adegga Stage, a new space created to give voice to the themes that are part of the experience of the event.
Premium room: rare wines by sommeliers Ivo Peralta and Francisco Oliveira
In an event where there are wines between 5 and 50 euros, Sala Premium is the meeting point for lovers of rare and special wines, materializing in an exclusive area that will have top quality white and red wines, Port wines , Madeira and Moscatel de Setúbal, served by sommeliers Ivo Peralta (Restaurant Epur) and Francisco Oliveira (Wine World) who are available to answer any questions. An unforgettable experience, which happens in a special area within the event with limited access to advance reservation.
After 26 editions, the Adegga WineMarket has already gone to destinations such as Porto and the Algarve, has become international in Stockholm, Brussels and Berlin, but always returns to the place where everything started: Lisbon.
