Algarve Forest Firemen visited fire prevention works in São Brás de Alportel

São Brás de Alportel hosted a study visit of the Rural Fire Prevention Course that was given to several teams of Forest Firemen in the Algarve during October.

The training, the result of a partnership between the Faro Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP) and the Algarve Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests (ICNF), has enabled the São Brás de Alportel Municipal Civil Protection Service to showcase prevention activities carried out by the municipality in the Primary and Secondary Fuel Management Ranges, in the Rural Cluster Protection Ranges, the Water Points for the supply of air and the infrastructure supporting the “Safe Village, Safe People” Program, among a set of actions that make up the Municipal Fire Prevention Action Strategy.
