Algarve is one of the seven best destinations to spend the winter

At a time when low winter temperatures are beginning to make themselves felt, the International magazine International Living has listed seven ideal destinations to escape the cold. The Algarve comes as one of these suggestions, being presented as a ‘winter paradise’ that offers a warm climate all year round and a good value for money.

Among the attributes of the region, the publication also highlights golf courses, gastronomy (with emphasis on fresh seafood and the typical ‘Guide Chicken’), the beaches and the beauty of the natural landscapes. As a plus point for the Algarve is also referred to the ease of living with the English language, which simplifies the adaptation of the American tourist to the destination.
