All the announcements you missed from PS5 games event

Sony just wrapped up its Future of Gaming PS5 event, and showed us just about everything we could have wanted to see.

The livestream was headlined by big reveals such as Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Gran Turismo 7 and Horizon II: Forbidden West. But there was an even bigger surprise: The console itself. Sony dropped the final PS5 design at the tail end of the show, revealing that the system will come in both standard and digital-only editions, the latter of which will presumably be cheaper.

Sony surprise-revealed the PS5’s design at the tail end of its show, unveiling a truly bizarre looking console with an asymmetrical look and presumably lots of optimal cooling. The curvy system will launch in both standard and disc-less versions, though no word yet on how much each will cost.

The 2018 hit game Marvel’s Spider-Man is getting a sequel, this time focused on younger wall-crawler Miles Morales.

Resident Evil Village switches gears to a spooky outdoor village setting, with series star Chris Redfield apparently one of the bad guys now.

Insomniac’s Ratchet and Clank series is returning for PS5.

Grand Theft Auto V is getting an enhanced PS5 port, and people who own the PS4 version will get a free upgrade.

A new Gran Turismo is in the works for PS5, and it features a campaign mode.

Square Enix and Luminous Productions premiered a game called Project Athia, which featured werewolf-like creatures and flying sections. It will come exclusively to PS5.

Annapurna Interactive revealed a robot-focused game called Stray set in a world where humans have died off.

Developed by formerly arcade-focused Housemarque, Returnal features a crash-landing on an alien planet where the protagonist keeps reliving the same events over and over again.

Developed by Sumo Digital, Sackboy: A Big Adventure is the latest game in the LittleBigPlanet franchise.

Lucid Games premiered an action-sports game called Destruction Allstars during the event.

An adorable adventure game developed by Ember Lab, Kena: Bridge of Spirits features Pixar-like visuals magical abilities and enemies.

Oddworld: Soulstorm has been in development for years and will now release on PS5.

Starring fantasy creatures in a hand-drawn art style, Goodbye Volcano High is an emotional game set in the “end of an era.”

Developed by Superbrothers, Jett: The Far Shore was shown during the reveal event.

Godfall, first shown several months ago, features intense melee combat using a variety of weapons, as well as supernatural and science-fiction elements.

Bethesda and Tango Gameworks gave us a look at Ghostwire: Tokyo, which was first shown at E3 2019 in a memorable unveiling.

From the creators of Hyper Light Drift, Solar Ash arrives in 2021.

A new Hitman game, Hitman 3 was shown during the presentation, with a cinematic trailer showing a very elusive Agent 47.
