Today at 6 pm, the Almada Festival opens the usual Colloquia on the Esplanade.
This event is organized in partnership with the Portuguese Association of Theater Critics and take place at the D. António da Costa school.
The first colloquium is with the director of The Great Emission of the Portuguese World, Isabel Craveiro, and will be moderated by the theater critic, Jorge Louraço, on the 6th.
On Tuesday, the 7th, it is the turn of Carlos Avilez, director of “Bruscamente no Verão passado”, who will be moderated by the critic Eugenia Vasques, and, on the 8th, Wednesday, the critic Rui Pina Coelho will moderate the colloquium with Raquel Castro, creator of Class of 95.
This is the ideal time to confront creators with their creations and find out more about the Festival’s first weekend shows.
On Thursday, the 9th, the shows return with the Teatro Nacional São João, from Porto, which presents Castro, by António Ferreira, staged by Nuno Cardoso, in the Main Room of the Teatro Municipal Joaquim Benite. Before that, at 6 pm, at the D. António da Costa shcool, Nuno Cardoso will be at the colloquium to be moderated by Teresa Albuquerque.
