Altran Portugal promotes 4th edition of “Ignite Your Future”

The city of Fundão will host the 4th edition of “Ignite Your Future”, an initiative promoted by Altran Portugal, together with the Municipality of Fundão, the Agency of Gardunha XXI and the University of Beira Interior (UBI), which follows from 15 to 18 of April.

“Ignite Your Future” aims to challenge about 150 students, from the 9th to the 12th, by performing exercises and activities in the field of computer science and robotics, as well as making Altran Portugal and its business areas are known.

During 4 days, students from different parts of the country will benefit from a complete learning program that includes technical and technological components that integrate the professional skills of the future.

Besides the technological exercises, the young people will also enjoy moments of conviviality, team building, adventure, sport and awarding of prizes for their performance in the activities. There will still be time for a tour of the Altran offices in Fundão.

For Célia Reis, CEO of Altran Portugal, the new edition of the event “is proof of its success and potential, not only for the dynamism of the region and its entities, but especially for the young people who are at a decisive moment in their lives, the choice of the academic course that will be decisive for their future professional. Ignite Your Future is a response to the growth of the Information Technology area, which allows young people through the sharing of knowledge and interactive experiences, direct contact with the latest technological tools and processes in the market. We want it to be a fun and playful way to fill the vacation days of these 150 young people. ”

“Ignite Your Future” is a free initiative that allows young people, on the way to the university or professional challenge, to have contact with the labor market and to enjoy a set of challenges in the area of technology. This initiative includes meals, insurance and follow-up of the students by the entities responsible for the program.
