ONE OF THE MOST REMARKABLE SINGER-SONGWRITER OF TODAY
After the tour with David Byrne, who toured the United Kingdom and the United States of America, pianist and composer Benjamin Clementine, one of the most unique contemporary artists, will take a special (and unique) tour of acoustic concerts throughout Europe and which has in Portugal dates marked at the beginning of June.
Guarda thus receives a spectacle that offers the public the opportunity to (re) see their repertoire and sweeping performances, this time in acoustic format. Under the motto “An Evening with Benjamin Clementine and his Parisian String Quintet”, this unique and intimate experience will be presented by the English musician, accompanied by five French instrumentalists, including Barbara Le Liepvre, on the cello. In this concert, Benjamin Clementine will present themes from his debut album “At Least For Now”, which earned him the important Mercury Prize, and his most critically acclaimed album “I Tell A Fly” to be considered by the American NPR (National Public Radio) as “a George Orwell musical of our time”.
