Ana Moura and Portugal Jewels launch Escudo collection contributing to support fund

Ana Moura and Portugal Jewels launch unisex jewelry collection inspired by the Portuguese shield, symbol of the nation since the 19th century. XV.

A solidary collection that contributes to the cultural emergency fund “Solidarity for Culture” created by Audiogest (represents music producers) and GDA (Management of the Rights of Artists), aimed at all professionals in the arts sectors.

It is in historical times like the ones we now live in that we most feel the symbols that make us close ranks as one people.

The Shield represents the weapons of a nation and also means protection, it is a symbol for these pandemic times when we have to fight each other and as a community to regain the freedom of full life.

Fado singer Ana Moura was inspired by the Escudo de Portugal to create, with Portugal Jewels, a set of unisex jewels that combine a contemporary aesthetic with this symbol with which we have identified ourselves as a people since the distant century. XV.

And because the soul of a nation is its culture and its agents cannot, in these pandemic times, carry out their work, 20% of the sales of the Escudo collection revert to the cultural emergency fund “Solidarity for Culture” created by Audiogest and GDA, aimed at all professionals in the arts sectors.

The collection is available at https://anamoura.pt and selected points of sale and consists of earrings, bracelet, necklace, and Escudo ring in silver, with sales prices between 35 € and 55 €.
