André Rosinha Trio, presented “Árvore” at CCB

Double bass player André Rosinha presented his latest album “Árvore” in the company of João Paulo Esteves Silva at the piano and Marcos Cavaleiro on drums, in a night full of captivating and innovative music.

The album “Árvore”, which was released in December 2019, had a presentation postponed due to the pandemic like so many other works, now beginning to be recovered, like so many other quality works that were out of the public’s ears, due to the covid-19.

The trio presented at CCB several original themes of great quality, but also formal simplicity exploring new paths and musical experiences, where the improvisation of these three musicians of great technical and artistic quality was not lacking.

One cool night, which “seemed more like a “Sintrense” night”, recalled the musician, André Rosinha’s hometown, the trio “took” the audience present through the themes influenced by the most varied musical styles, from jazz to Latin American boleros, from folk to classical music, a concert in which Jazz heated up Lisbon’s night.
