The organization clarifies that tickets for the new date are for sale on the concertocoimbra.pt website and in the usual places, without any change in their values or available sectors, and that whoever has already purchased the ticket, the same will be valid for the 2021 show, without making any changes.
Cited in the statement, the Mayor of Coimbra, Manuel Machado, expresses the certainty that Andrea Bocelli’s concert will be a distinct cultural spectacle, which shows that the city has excellent conditions for organizing and hosting major events.
The concert by tenor Andrea Bocelli, scheduled for Coimbra in July, was today postponed to June 26, 2021, more than a year from now, and will continue to have Mariza’s participation, the organization announced.
The concert in 2021 will maintain the structure scheduled for July 4th, which comprises an orchestra of 70 musicians and a choir with 60 voices and two distinct moments, a classic beginning to the sound of the most erudite opera arias eternalized in his voice, and a second part dedicated to the most celebrated themes of his career.
In this sense, promoters of the Coimbra concert will donate “one euro for each ticket sold” to those social causes.
