Angel Gomes is the big news in Man’s United squad.

Son of Gil, the U-20 World Champion, is included in the 20-man roster of Norwegian coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

English footballer Angel Gomes, son of Gil, the 1991 U-20 world champion for Portugal, is among eight youngsters at Manchester United to visit Paris Saint-Germain for the Champions League.

The 18-year-old midfielder, England’s U-17 World Championship, has joined the 20-man roster of Norwegian coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, whose team has been plagued by several absences.

Phil Jones, Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian, Matic, Mata Ander Herrera, Devant, Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez will miss the trip to the French capital, where the Red Devils seek to recover from a 2-0 defeat in the first hand of the last 16 of the champions, as well as Paul Pogba, who is punished.

Angel Gomes has played three times for Manchester United’s home team as a substitute in two Premier League games, one in May 2017 and another in December, and another in the FA Cup in January 2018.
