AS Roma of Paulo Fonseca kicks off Europa League with a trashing

The Italians won at the reception of Basaksehir.

AS Roma welcomed and beat Thursday’s Basaksehir (4-0) on matchday 1 of the Europa League group stage. Paulo Fonseca’s team have entered the European race on the right foot, and share the lead in group J with Wolfsberger who also thrashed Borussia Monchengladbach (4-0) in Germany.
