Telling a secret through a song was the premise with which Aurea devised her latest album, Confessions. The singer, performer and composer also wanted to record some of the stories that were confiding to her at various times in her life. The stories that inspired Confessions can be anyone’s stories that we can all relate to. And in that sense it is also a sharing of emotions. The intensity of the stories that make up Confessions, motivated a change in sound aesthetics compared to previous works, visible from the first theme that opens the album.
