Ausonia challenges women to offer one minute for breast cancer research

Under the initiative #UMAPORTODAS, which in this second edition will again count on actress Sofia Robeiro as ambassador, for each package of AUSONIA sold will be donated 12 cents to the Portuguese League Against Cancer (LPCC) in order to promote scientific research.

The brand of feminine intimate hygiene products AUSONIA promotes the solidarity campaign #UMAPORTODAS, which consists in the support of the Portuguese League Against Cancer, by donating part of the value of its sales.

Actress Sofia Ribeiro joins, once again, this awareness campaign through which will be donated 12 cents to the LPCC for a research grant of up to 15 thousand euros. Thus, for each AUSONIA package sold between October 15 and December 16, Portuguese women will be contributing the equivalent of one minute of research in this cancer area.

In the month of World Breast Cancer Day, Margarida Cabral das Neves, head of AUSONIA’s marketing emphasizes that “as a specialist brand for women’s intimate health, AUSONIA’s mission is to promote initiatives that contribute to the scientific advance in this area ”. In this regard, the official points out: “The Portuguese League against Cancer has been a reference for 75 years in supporting patients and their families, promoting health, preventing cancer and stimulating training and research in our country, for example. that we could once again stop being by his side ”.

In turn, Professor Doctor Vítor Rodrigues, President of LPCC, points out that “in view of the success of the previous edition, expectations for the adhesion of the Portuguese are high.
