Judge Barbara Timo won today the gold medal for the Portuguese national team in the -70 kg category of the Tbilisi Grand Prix when she won the German final Laura Vargas Koch for ‘ippon’.

In the fight for the gold medal, the athlete, born in Brazil, who naturalized Portuguese in 2019, beat Koch, after 4.20 minutes of combat, during which she suffered two penalties, less one than the German athlete.
