Barroselas Metalfest returns in 2022

The postponement of the festival, which takes place in Barroselas, in the municipality of Viana do Castelo, was announced by the organization in a publication on the official Barroselas Metalfest page on the social network Facebook.

The 23rd edition of the festival should have taken place between April 29 and May 2 of this year, but was postponed due to the covid-19 pandemic. At the end of March, the organization announced that the 23rd edition would be held on the same days, between April 29 and May 2, but in 2021.

The organization says that, until 2022, it will take the opportunity to work on new ideas and prepare another edition with calm and thoughtfulness.

Barroselas Metalfest is the first Portuguese music festival to be postponed from 2021 to 2022.
