Benfica in the final of the Volleyball Cup, after winning Académica São Mamede

Benfica, holder of the trophy, today qualified for the final of the Portuguese Volleyball Cup, which will play Sunday with Fonte Bastardo, after beating Académica de São Mamede 3-0 at the Multiusos de Sines in Setúbal.

The record holder of triumphs in the Portuguese Cup, with 17 trophies, is present for the 25th time in the final, after beating Académica de São Mamede by the 25-13, 25-19 and 25-17 matches, and reissues with Source Bastard’s decision of 2015/16, which ended in favor of the ‘incarnates’ (3-1).
