Benfica joins FC Porto and Oliveirense in the ‘quarters’ of the European League

Benfica qualified for the quarter-finals of the European Roller Hockey League, benefiting from FC Barcelona’s 7-1 triumph over Sarzana on Group C’s fifth round.

Benfica beaten Germania Herringen by 4-3 on Saturday, needing Barcelona to score today to move on.

With the triumph of the Catalans, Benfica secured second place in Group C, behind FC Barcelona, and can find FC Porto in the quarter-finals, should the ‘blues and whites’ confirm their victory in Group B on the sixth and final day .

In addition to FC Porto and Benfica, Oliveirense is also in the quarter-finals, while champion Sporting was out of the next round.
