The leader Benfica scored today his 13th victory, in 13 games, in the Women’s Football League, when he beat Ovarense 6-0, in a meeting held at field number 7 of Benfica Campus, in Seixal.

Sílvia Rebelo, at 18 minutes, Cloé Lacasse, at 29 and 48, Nicole, at 39, Andreia Faria, at 57, and Patrícia Llanos, at 66, scored the goals of Luís Andrade’s team.

In the classification, Benfica now has 39 points, with 94 goals scored and only one conceded, against 36 of Sporting, second place, who thrashed the home team of A-dos-Francos, last classified, by 5-0.

The ‘incarnates’ have already won the Super Cup, are in the fourth round of the Portuguese Cup and, in the League Cup, they started with a 2-2 draw against Sporting, in what was the only game they did not win in the 2019/20 season.

In 2018/19, in their debut in women’s football, the ‘red’ won the second division championship and the Portuguese Cup.
