Bernardo Silva ‘shines’ the City title boots at Old Trafford

Manchester City defeated their opponents in the Premier League, now leading the championship, three games before the end.

He danced, danced, danced a lot, this Manchester City in the duel at the home of the eternal rival. The game was one-way, and the citizens’ victory mirrors a short result, in a confrontation that had the scales (very) unbalanced.

Pep Guardiola’s pupils defeated Manchester United at Old Trafford in a 2-0 defeat of the Premier League on Matchday 31.

In the first half without goals, the opening shot came through the feet of the devilish Bernardo Silva (seventh goal in the Premier League), at the 54th minute, Gundogan’s pass.

If David de Gea was’ unhappy ‘in the first goal conceded, by not protecting his nearest post, at 66’, he fell again in the same fallacy. Sterling’s pass Sané swung the marker and set the final score.

With three games to go, Manchester City takes the lead again after clinching their 11th consecutive win with 89 points, one more than their rival Liverpool. Already the red devils, in sixth place in the championship, have added their seventh defeat in the last nine games.
