Black Pumas debut in Portugal at NOS Alive’20

Black Pumas, the collaboration between producer and multi-instrumentalist Adrian Quesada and singer-songwriter Eric Burton, make their grand debut in Portugal at NOS Alive’20 on July 8th. The Austin, Texas duo bring to the Sagres Stage a funk and soulful concert on the first day of the festival.

Burton’s dynamic vocals are the perfect match for the funk and R&B tracks Quesada works with. The artists teamed up in 2017 and released their self-titled debut album in June 2019.

With such a short life span, the pair have already secured impressive achievements with a proven worldwide projection. In the year of their first studio release, they performed live at South By Southwest, took home the best band trophy at the Austin Music Awards and a Grammy Award nomination for Best New Artist.

Quesada already has a Grammy Award for “Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album” in his repertoire, received while part of the band Ghost Group.

Black Pumas is a name to watch out for on July 8th at NOS Alive’20.
