The poster includes well-known and renowned names from Portuguese and Iberian music, Sara Tavares, Carles Dénia, Sopa de Pedra, Fogo Fogo, Paulo Bragança and Moreno Veloso.
The festival, whose 1st edition took place ‘online’, in May, arose from two needs emerging during the pandemic, to make music reach all people, in a period when the country was under total social isolation, and motivate the professionalization of the artistic class and of all those who collaborate with it, creating a logic of remuneration for the artists who made up the poster and their teams.
According to Fado in a Box, “in each of the rooms [Teatro Municipal de Bragança and Teatro Municipal São Luiz] there will be two daily concert sessions”.
There will be three types of tickets for sale, starting today, for each of the rooms: concert ticket (15 euros for Bragança and 20 euros for Lisbon), daily ticket (25 and 35 euros) and festival pass (35 and 65 euros) .
For 2022, there is already a forecast that the Live in a Box Festival will also take place in Spain, given the mission of continuity and growth that the festival intends to implement.
Edu Mundo, Carlos Leitão, Luca Argel, Toty Sa’Med, Júlio Resende, Cordel and Fogo Fogo participated in the 1st edition of the Live in a Box Festival.
