Centenary Festivities in Honor of Nossa Senhora do Rosário in Barreiro

Barreiro expects more than 120 thousand visitors, from 9 to 18 August, during the centenary Festivities in Honor of Nossa Senhora do Rosário.

This year, the Centennial Celebrations in Honor of Nossa Senhora do Rosário arrive to Barreiro with an incredible poster during 10 days of celebration that surpasses last year’s edition.

With a varied offer and for all audiences Barreiro offers 3 stages with music for all ages, a religious program, activities for the youngest and all the family, guided tours to the Barreiro mills, taverns, bars, crafts, and much much more.

The poster for this edition features David Carreira, Calema, Bruno Nogueira and Manuela Azevedo with “Deixem o Pimba em Paz” (“Leave Pimba Alone”), Cuca Roseta, DJ Kamala and Jimmy P, among others, on the main stage, Palco Marés.

The Spot da Juventude is the secondary stage featuring an eclectic and “alternative” schedule to end each summer night on Avenida Bento Gonçalves with a privileged view of the river.

This stage will feature names such as Allen Halloween, Minguito, D´Alva, Human Taranja, DJ Firmeza, Octavinho, Simply Rockers Sound System, Kyra Band, Strada, Clemente and much more.

The Barreiro Motoclube will also feature a stage where you can enjoy bands like MCB Band, The Rockers, Klassicos and Nuggyland while sipping a beer.

In addition to music, marketers can enjoy more than 70 craft stalls, taverns and bars. There will be the TCB public transport service for the festivities and a parking area.

The festivities of Barreiro will be, once again, an Eco Event, this Amarsul “green” program is a project co-financed by POSEUR consisting of the intervention of specialized awareness teams to increase recycling in the events, and includes the provision of support. for reclaimable bags and waste collection facilities.
