Chiara, stage name of Kiara Timas, was born on March 22, 1984. Daughter of a Guinean father and Cape Verdean mother, she grew up in Lisbon, where she immigrated with her parents, at the age of 3.
As a teenager and after a fashion show, she is invited to take a course at Face Models, Fátima Lopes agency, where she took classes in Passerelle, Dramatic Expression, Fashion History, Nutrition, Makeup, Casting, etc., with Elsa Gervásio as teachers. , Ricardo Pereira, Jamal, Carla Contige, among others.
From this training he carried out numerous works. Among fashion editorials and TV ads, we highlight brands such as: Calvin Klein, Selmark…. And, in parallel to this journey, he explores the musical universe, which has always been his passion, having the opportunity to participate in Sara Tavares’ album “Balancê”.
After applying for a TVI ad and after a rigorous selection process, she joined the youth series “Morangos com Açúcar”, as an actress and singer.
He joined the Justgirls band, contributing to the sale of more than 250 thousand albums, reaching 11 platinum records and performing in more than 200 live shows.
The experience of this journey contributed to a professional, personal growth, and in 2017 he released his first solo album entitled “Chiara Nu Tempo” together with the producer and composer Paulo Ferro. In this album Kiara Timas counted on the participation of the well-known British musician Wayne Hussey, lead singer of The Mission on the theme “Ao Piano”.
In 2019 she was invited to participate in Renato Junior’s album “Uma mulher não chora” interpreting the theme “O Meu Mundo és Tu”, along with other female names recognized from the national artistic panorama.
