7th edition of Comic Con Portugal, which takes place at Passeio Marítimo de Algés, in Oeiras, has been postponed to 2021, it is advanced in a statement sent to the newsrooms. The biggest pop culture event in the country was scheduled to take place from 10 to 13 September this year.
The decision came after the approval of the Portuguese Government’s Law proposal that determines the ban on the holding of major events until September 30, 2020, along with the extension of the country’s state of calamity, especially in the Lisbon and Vale do Vale region. Tagus.
The 7th edition was already being analyzed in different formats and adapted to the current contingencies, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it has also become impossible to have confirmed national and international talents.
The 2019 edition of Comic Con Portugal had more than 140 thousand visitors.
