Unwanted,  tells the story of raped women.
Rape is now seen as a weapon of mass destruction in conflict zones/war zones. Violations that give birth to children traumatized by the story they carry, a burden around their birth that will accompany them for life. To write this story, Dorothée Munyaneza went to meet rejected mothers, women hurt by the circumstances of a life they did not plan, and to whom the same question was always asked, as a start: “After what happened to her, what Did you accept yourself? ” An account of real stories, of women who were violated in their intimacy.

Dorothée Munyaneza, singer, author and choreographer, is one of the key names in international contemporary art. Since 2000 he has signed several musical and choreographic projects, having taken on the first major international projection work in 2014. Born in Rwanda, Dorothée Munyaneza left Kigali in 1994 at the age of 12 and settled in England with his parents. After taking up British nationality, he studied music and, through this art, perpetuated the memory of individual and collective bodies through the words of his subjects. In 2004, he composed and performed Terry George’s original Hotel Ruanda soundtrack and, among collaborations, released his first solo album in 2010. He currently lives in Marseille, France.
