NOS Alive’20 welcomes the English Easy Life on July 8th, to perform for the first time on the Sagres Stage. Joining the already confirmed for the same day, Kendrick Lamar, Jorja Smith, Black Pumas, Fontaines D.C. and Charli XCX.
Pointed out as the next big band in the United Kingdom, Easy Life has continually refined their charismatic, but confessional, way of transmitting the particularities of everyday life. Between a rebellious attitude against the musical status quo, typical of this generation, draws a line between the love for hip-hop, R&B and the great British rock acts.
On a more personal level, the Leicester band has also been representing hard work from a positive perspective at a time when national optimism is low. From lyrics that address the future of the planet, as in “Earth”, or male mental health, as we hear in “Nightmares”, everything about Easy Life seems genuinely easy, even if the reality was the exact opposite.
The English band makes its debut on national soil on July 8, at the Stage Sagres of NOS Alive’20.
