The port will start to have direct flights to Malaga between April 2 and October 26, with operation four times a week, easyJet airline announced today.
“The company will be the first to operate the Porto-Málaga direct-route, nonstop route, where it will make available four weekly flights on board its A320s, a company strategy to offer greater capacity,” reads the statement.
According to easyJet, from today it will be possible to book a flight to Malaga from the city of Porto, from 28 euros, in a reservation for two people, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Porto-Málaga is joining four routes launched by the company this year (Faro-Manchester, Porto-Nice, Porto-Bordeaux, Lisbon-Manchester), being the company’s third bet from Francisco Sá Carneiro airport.
“This is the third route we launched this year in the city of Porto Portugal is and will continue to be strategic for easyJet and that is why we will continue to bet on this market with an offer that meets the needs of the Portuguese“, defended José Lopes, director easyJet for Portugal, quoted in the document.
With this new route, the airline totals 18 destinations from Porto.
