Elvira revisits the iconic “Sonho Azul”, a theme edited in 1982 and that still inhabits the Portuguese music imagination today.
Elvira presents herself with a version of “Sonho Azul” and brings the theme to pop in the new millennium with the production of Bruno Vasconcelos. Elvira is an artist from Porto who, in 2017, with the stage name Via, was invited by Miguel Araújo to do the first parts of her concerts, with whom she collaborated on the single “Já Não Sei Quem Sou”. In 2018, the general public met her in the duet with Tiago Nacarato in “Eu Não”.
During the confinement period that marks 2020, Elvira decides to adopt her own name, which she inherited from her great-grandmother, an opera singer at a time when women who sang publicly were not very well regarded. He also inherited his boldness and a grand piano that would later awaken his interest in music.
This is the first advance for the EP to be published later this year, with the collaboration of Bruno Vasconcelos and Nuno Figueiredo.
“Sonho Azul” by Elvira is now available for listening on all digital platforms. The official music video debuted on YouTube.
