A historic city that dances with the future!
This coming September, between the 18th and the 21st, the historic city of Évora and World Heritage for over three decades, will be the stage of Évora Urban Village, a new event that aims to shake the end of summer of this important cultural center of Alentejo and from the country.
There is no music without dance!
With a special focus on Music and Urban Dances, Évora Urban Village will occupy a noble area of the city with an ambitious schedule – including shows, workshops, debates, etc. – highlighting some of the most important national and international talents of its kind, with energetic presentations designed especially for this context.
A highlight program for all Urban Art!
Évora Urban Village will also host concerts with nationally projected artists, DJ sets, projection of music and dance documentaries, talks, a photography exhibition, guest artist of urban art and other initiatives that will seek to tune the audience with the deepest vibration of the new dances and rhythms that are shaking cities around the world. The focus will be on the quality and timeliness of creating all proposals.
In the space designed for the event the public will also find a careful offer of street food, as well as other services and offerings that intend to raise the experience of Évora Urban Village to a higher level.
This is an original event that will occupy a new space in the panorama of Portuguese festivals, being another contribution to the offer of a city that has recently formalized an application for a European Capital of Culture, which has a young and growing student population. which offers a much higher than average quality of life for its residents.
