Exponor decoration and interior design fair is coming

From February 20th to 23rd, IDF by Interdecoração returns to Exponor in a revamped format, which aims to intertwine the talent and creativity of the new generation of creators – who revive traditional techniques – with the art and experience of older brands – reinventing themselves. through the design. A symbiosis that writes the new trends of the sector.

Over 14,000 square meters, the event stands as an observatory of trends and proposals for the next season, which this year marks the beginning of a new decade, and exposes the work of about 120 exhibitors who show solutions. from the most varied aspects of the sector, from furniture, lighting, ceramics, illustration, textile, stationery, gift, to flowers and fragrances.

With an exclusive entrance for interior design and decorating professionals, this edition will embrace four key thematic areas that reflect the focus on enhancing the visitor experience: Iconic Brands, Makers Showcase, Pure Collection and Pure Edition.

By creating an art gallery environment, Iconic Brands brings together a selection of pieces from some of the most iconic and timeless Portuguese brands.

And while IDF by Interdecoração pays tribute to the legacy left by brands with a consolidated and inspiring track, on the other hand it is also a launching pad for the new generation of Portuguese creators who revolutionize the market. The Makers Showcase space comes from the challenge Exponor Exhibitions launched to brands and designers to present their creative concepts. An initiative that aims to show new, more contemporary and sustainable approaches.

Pure Collection, on the other hand, is the result of a collective space of mid-high-end companies in furniture, lighting, ceramics and home textiles, which portrays the reinvention of forms of exhibition and presentation of products. In turn, Pure Edition is a space of inspiration and business where new collections of decorative fabrics will be exhibited firsthand.

Carla Maia, Director of Marketing at Exponor Exhibitions, explains the concept. “IDF reflects our vision for the fairs: spaces of inspiration and interaction – I would say, intersection, which is multidirectional – whether to promote contacts between exhibitors and visitors, such as partnerships and synergies between brands and even exchanges. experiences among visitors. We believe that this way, we are not only following the evolution of the sector, but also being an engine of this evolution ”.

This is the second edition of the new IDF by Interdecoração format. The space will be divided into five major exhibition areas: Home Accessories (home textile, cutlery, dishes, ceramics, table and kitchen), Living & Flowers (decoration, flowers, illustration and fragrances), Furniture & Lighting (furniture and lighting) , Paper Show (stationery, gift and office supplies) and Interior Fabrics.

The event, which will feature hundreds of news, expects about 10,000 visitors, national and international.
