In a year where everyone needs more and more faith and learn to overcome challenges, the singer Fafá de Belém prepares a special live, broadcast live, directly from the Auditorium of the Study Center of Fátima, on August 9, Sunday.
It will be the first live of a Brazilian artist through the platform “Cliveon – Culture Live Online”, a virtual room of digital shows. It is a new business model, a platform where people buy virtual tickets with a symbolic value of 2 euros. With the reopening of the rooms, a limited number of VIP tickets will also be issued, which will entitle you to physical entrance where the show will be held. Before her, only Pedro Abrunhosa and Carolina Deslandes, Portuguese artists of great popularity, have already performed.
There is a lot of synchronicity involving this virtual concert. Fafá de Belém was the only artist in the world to perform for three popes, at the invitation of the Vatican, and is named after Our Lady of Fatima, who whom her father was very devout. In addition, the date marks Father’s Day in Brazil and the singer’s birthday.
“I do not believe in coincidence and I am very moved by so many things conspiring for this live to be very special”, says Fafá.
The repertoire will be a tour of the singer’s successes in Brazil, where she completes 45 years of career, and in Portugal, a land that has always welcomed her with open arms and where she celebrates 36 years on the road.
“In addition to my successes, I will sing fados, religious songs and Portuguese songs by contemporary authors such as Paulo Gonzo, Rui Veloso, Ana Bacalhau, the group Deolinda, and Carolina Deslandes”.
