Festival N2 makes musical trip with Luísa Sobral, Villagers and Capicua

The National Festival 2 (N2) is headlined by Luísa Sobral, Villagers and Capicua and runs from Wednesday to Friday, in Chaves, a city that has zero kilometers of road that crosses the country to Faro.

This “musical trip”, which is intended to be the theme for the festival, begins on Wednesday with performances by Luísa Sobral, David Keenan & The Unholy Ghosts, Luis Severo and Maro.

On the following day, Villagers, Samuel Úria, Benjamin, Zach Noir, go up to two stages in the public garden of Chaves.

N2 ends with the Capicua, Cais Sodré Funk Connection, D’Alva and Malaboos concerts.

“The municipality wants this festival, associated with an iconic venue – the zero kilometer of EN2 – to take root and that in a few years it will become a national reference. The N2 Festival has an associated path that adds value to the event.” , said the Deputy Mayor of Chaves, Francisco Melo.

According to Indieror Diogo Martins, “the success of the first edition brings higher expectations for this edition, aiming to ensure more participation and try to reach 10,000 people.”

“This festival is defined as a travel experience, with a progressive and growing path,” he said.

According to the organization, one of the novelties of the 2019 edition of N2 is the itinerant stage that will allow the festival to be extended to the city center, with bands with flavienses references to “create dynamics with the community”.

The organization also highlighted the “ecological concern” in the logistics of the event, announcing the offer of reusable glasses for the purchase of tickets that cost four euros a day and 10 euros the general ticket.
