Filipe Azevedo wins new Shanghai Ironman 70.3


The Portuguese athlete today won the Ironman 70.3 from Shanghai, a race that also won last year, this time with a time of 3: 47.03 hours.

At the end of the three segments – 1,900 meters swimming, 90 km cycling and 21,1 km running (half marathon) – Filipe Azevedo won by 33 seconds less than New Zealander Cameron Brown, second, and 1.18 minutes less than Australian Leigh Anderson- Voigt
