The festival will complete the 33rd edition with cinema sessions in theaters, in Tokyo, and the selection of films from the “Tokyo Premiere” program includes “The last bath”, by David Bonneville, and “Ordem Moral”, by Mário Barroso.
“O último banho” is David Bonneville’s first feature film and will make its world premiere in Tokyo. The cast is headed by Anabela Moreira and Martim Canavarro, including the actress’s twin sister, Margarida Moreira, and actors Ângelo Torres and Miguel Guilherme.
“Ordem Moral”, which opens this week in theaters in France, is an adaptation of the true story of the wealthy heiress of Diário de Notícias, who, in 1918, left the family to live with the driver. Discovered, she was compulsively hospitalized by her husband and considered crazy, a condition she always denied.
The film features Maria de Medeiros, Marcello Urgeghe, João Pedro Mamede, João Arrais, Júlia Palha, Albano Jerónimo, among others.
