Frederico Morais advances to the 16 -th-finals at Jeffreys Bay

Frederico Morais has qualified for the 16th round of the Corona Open J-Bay in South Africa, a test of the sixth stage of the world surfing circuit.

After being relegated to the replay of this event at Jeffreys Bay on Tuesday, Kikas, 32nd in the world rankings, was in second place in the third round of the elimination round with a score of 13, 23 points (7.33 + 5.90) behind Frenchman Jeremy Flores (15.84) and ahead of Brazilian Jesse Mendes (11.83).

This is the third presence of the natural surfer of Cascais in the circuit of 2019, in which he is one of the substitutes, after the third place in Rio de Janeiro and the 33rd in Margaret River, Australia.

In 2017, Frederico Morais reached the final in Jeffreys Bay, having been beaten by Brazilian Filipe Toledo.
