French Total notifies Competition of the purchase of the Novoenergia
The purchase by the French Total of Novoenergia, one of the largest national producers of renewable energy, was notified to the Competition Authority on Monday, according to a published notice.
The merger consists of the acquisition by Total Eren of sole control over Novenergia Holding Company, a company belonging to a group of Portuguese and foreign companies producing electricity from renewable energy sources.
Total Eren is a company jointly controlled by the Eren Group and the Total Group of the renewable energy sector and active in the field of solar and wind energy.
