Google announced that it added ten representations of dinosaurs in Augmented Reality to the search results. Users can search, for example, for Tyrannosaurus Rex and see what the full-size giant would look like in their backyard or on their street.
The addition of the dinosaurs follows an initiative started by Google at the I/O conference last year and where it presents representations of more and more animals in this way, from scorpions to tigers, bears and cats.
It uses graphics developed for the RA Jurassic World Alive game and informs that users can search for Tyrannosaurus rex, Velociraptor, Triceratops, Spinosaurus, Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Pteranodon or Parasaurolophus.
If the user only wants to see what the scale would look like, he can choose that option. Just search for the name, select the AR option and point to the floor of the place so that the ‘animal’ is positioned.
