Harlem Gospel Choir returned to Portugal with an amazing tribute to Prince
Harlem Gospel Choir gave a concert yesterday at the Coliseu dos Recreios, in Lisbon, with a tribute to the artist Prince.
The Harlem Gospel Choir returned to Portugal with a concert able to unite the whole family around some of the most celebrated songs in the world.
The concert began at 9:30 pm and several honours were paid to one of the most brilliant artists of our time, Prince, with very special arrangements.
The Harlem Gospel Choir was founded by Allen Bailey in 1986 and is America’s most famous gospel group, has nearly three decades of history and returns to Portugal with an engaging spectacle that can lift spirits and flood any audience with peace.
The Choir has already brought to Portugal tribute shows to music giants such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Adele and Beyoncé, and now it’s Prince’s turn.
The gospel has the unique condition of being both a song of devotion and celebration and so the performances of the Harlem Gospel Choir are always exuberant and deeply felt. Coupled with this fact, the carefully chosen repertoire, interpreted with soul, liveliness, and passion, provides a perfect show for the whole family.
It was a very special celebration that addressed the whole family with a luxury soundtrack in the inimitable Harlem Gospel Choir style.
