Homemade Sweet Potato Puree

Sweet potato puree is a different accompaniment to roast beef dishes or steaks. Easy to prepare and different.

1 kg sweet potato
2 cloves garlic or leek if you prefer
1 onion
75 gr vegetable margarine
2 dl milk this amount may vary depending on the density of the puree you want
white pepper q.s.
nutmeg to taste
Sweet Potato Mash Recipe


Wash the sweet potatoes, put them in a pan and cook with the peel, cover with water and season with salt.
Let the potatoes cook until tender. Drain them, peel the potatoes and reduce them to mash in the pass.
Finely chop the garlic cloves and onion and sauté in the margarine until soft.
To this preparation add the crushed sweet potato and the milk. Season with pepper and nutmeg to taste.
