Honda Civic Type R version Tiago Monteiro is sold out

Seventeen units of this special model made by Honda were sold in partnership with the WTCR driver.

The Honda Civic Type R # 18, the Civic Type R special edition signed by the Portuguese driver Tiago Monteiro, is already sold out. This special edition, launched in mid-2018 and limited to 18 units, ran out a few months after being made available on the market.

17 units were sold to the final customer and the Civic Type R # 18 with the number 2 was owned by Sózó Portugal, the importer of Honda Automóveis.

The Civic Type R # 18 is an exclusive version of the front-wheel-drive hot hatch, developed by Honda Portugal Automóveis in partnership with Tiago Monteiro, in a tribute to the Portuguese driver that runs with the number 18.

All units of the Honda Civic Type R # 18 have the Championship White colour and are personalized, exterior and interior, with several unique elements that differentiate them from a standard Type R. These units, incorporate a Remus 3-point tailpipe exhaust and special carbon trim on the rear spoiler and B-pillar, a material widely used in competition for being lightweight and sturdy.

These units also include rear-view mirror covers in red, a Tiago Monteiro brand image, and an exterior badge identifying this special edition. Inside, each unit includes a special serial number plate, signed by the Honda rider. Also, the carpets of the Civic Type R # 18 include the signature of Tiago Monteiro.
