As the tradition dictates, Hotel Cascais Miragem presents its festive program, specially designed for the most magical days of the year ahead.

To celebrate the holiday season, the Cascais Miragem Hotel has once again prepared special menus for the holidays, to be tasted in a warm and celebratory atmosphere, spent with family or friends.

To make this Christmas an unforgettable time of celebration, the Hotel’s chefs have carefully prepared menus that combine traditional seasonal flavours with unique and innovative ingredients, promising to take you on a memorable Christmas gastronomic trip.

Thus, on the night of December 24, the Christmas Dinner will be in charge of the chefs Peter Beckers and Elias Silva, at the Gourmet restaurant. This menu inspired by classic Christmas flavours will have creamy gorgonzola piglet and amuse-bouche pesto and cauliflower cream with goat cheese and laminated almond for a starter.

The main course will not dispense with the traditional fish of the holiday parties, and the customer can choose the traditional recipe of Christmas cod or a bolder alternative, such as codfish in a crust of bread and shrimp accompanied by mash. chickpeas and spinach, clams and emulsion of virgin olive oil from Trás-os-Montes.

In addition to these two main options, there is the salt-flowered duck magret and its cannelloni confit with glazed turnips and basil vinegar cream, which promises to please the boldest palates.

To end the meal with a golden key, Hotel Cascais Miragem suggests a wide selection of typical desserts of the season and there will be truffles and Christmas cookies served with mulled wine to warm up the colder days that seem to have arrived.

For this supper, there is also a vegetarian and gluten-free menu, consisting of dishes such as mozzarella pearls with cherry tomatoes, avocado cream, basil and pesto, a thousand leaves of tofu with sauteed spinach with chickpea puree , croutons with herbs, fresh baked potatoes and extra virgin olive oil or breaded seitan with honey and roasted almond.

Then, in the hot dishes, you will not miss the seafood cream with garnish, cognac and croutons, the beef consommé with Royal, vegetable brunoise and port wine, the grilled grouper medallions with lime butter, the linguine with shrimp, julienne of vegetables, ginger, soy sauce and sesame seeds and of course the traditional minhota cod and roasted turkey with honey, thyme, chestnuts and cranberry sauce.

With water, soft drinks, juices and coffee, this buffet menu will cost € 67.00 per person.
