Hotel Cascais Miragem’s new takeaway service for Christmas and New Year’s Eve is available from December 15th and promises to be an unforgettable meal for this festive season.
The menu designed by the hotel’s chefs, especially for the most magical time of the year, promises to please even the most demanding palates, incorporating traditional Portuguese ingredients such as cod, bread, olives, greens, chestnuts, and even the Ginga de Obidos.
There are three gourmet dining options available on this festive menu:
– Oven-baked codfish in cornbread and olive crust and shrimp grisé served with sauteed greens, buttered potatoes, and chives and drizzled with virgin olive oil from Trás-os-Montes (100.00 € for 4 people)
– Stuffed turkey with Óbidos sour cherry accompanied by au gratin potatoes, spinach, bacon and sautéed nuts (88.00 € for 4 people)
– Roast lamb with kids rice with cashews and sauteed pistachios and greens (115.00 € for 4 people).
To finish the meal in the best way, Hotel Cascais Miragem recommends its emblematic 1 kg Mirage Christmas Cake, a unique recipe that combines chocolate with spices (30.00 €).
Orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance and from December 15 to 30, the takeaway service will not be available on the 25th.
