The Hoti Hoteis Group, which integrates a total offer of 18 hotels, in 9 locations in Portugal and Mozambique (Maputo), announces its strategy of reopening the units that were closed and presents a “Welcome Back” campaign, open in June, in all sales channels.
“Over the past few months, we have kept TRYP Lisboa Aeroporto, Star inn Lisbon, Meliá Braga and Hotel da Música in operation, to support health professionals. Until the 5th of June, another 9 hotel units will start operating, ensuring the presence of the chain in all its current locations in mainland Portugal (Braga, Porto, Aveiro, Leiria, Castelo Branco, Peniche, Lisbon, Caparica and Setúbal). By the end of June, we will reinforce the offer with the 2 hotel units in Madeira, totalling 15 establishments in operation, ”says Miguel Proença, President of Grupo Hoti Hotels.
The entry into operation of the new Moxy Lisboa Oriente, as well as the reopening of the Tryp Lisboa Oriente, both in Parque das Nações, will be dependent on the evolution of demand in the Lisbon market, which may occur between July and September. Finally, with regard to Meliá Maputo Sky, the decision to reopen is subject to the evolution of tourist flows that have been severely affected in recent months.
The 5 hotels with Hoti Hoteis own brands – the Star inn Lisbon, Star inn Peniche, Star inn Porto, Hotel da Música and Golden Residence Madeira – launch the “WELCOME BACK” campaign, for reservations during the month of June, and stay until at the end of the year. This initiative is available in all distribution channels, own channels and all B2C and B2B partners, with a 20% discount on current tariffs, complemented with special advantages for its customers, until now only available on its own channels.
The 12 hotels included in the Meliá Hotels International chain will be part of the global campaigns to be announced shortly. In both cases, the booking conditions are largely flexible, allowing for the rescheduling of dates and the possibility of cancellation up to 7 days before the arrival date.
Having been strong supporters of the certification of sanitary hygiene measures as the first form of reconstructing the climate of confidence for the restoration of tourism, the Hoti Hotéis Group ensures that all its units meet high standards of quality, cleanliness and hygiene, so all The units will bear the “Clean & Safe” seal attributed by Turismo de Portugal at the time of reopening their operations, also complying with the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).
