The sporting midfielder beat Chiquinho and Rafa in the League of Clubs vote.
The Liga de Clubes awarded this Thursday Bruno Fernandes as the best player of the Portuguese league’s top tier during the month of March.
The Sporting player – who had also received the trophy for the best average – collected 35.42% of the votes of the national champions’ coaches.
The Portuguese international left Chiquinho, Moreirense, and Rafa, of Benfica, who were respectively in second and third places.
Bruno Fernandes recorded a record month of March, helping the Lions to win their full game in their four games, having scored three goals.
This, it should be remembered, is the third time the 24-year-old midfielder receives this distinction, having already done so, either in December or in February.
