Rede Artéria is a project artistically coordinated by a Coimbra theater company, Teatrão, and scientifically by the Center for Social Studies at the University of Coimbra.

Since 2018, this project combines original artistic creation with the production of scientific knowledge and cultural programming in eight municipalities in the Center Region: Belmonte, Coimbra, Figueira da Foz, Fundão Guarda, Ourém, Tábua and Viseu.

In September 2020, the eighth show, “Caminho”, by Filipa Francisco, will debut in Belmonte, where the issue of territorial desertification will determine the creation process that is already taking place and includes a series of creative laboratories that will take place in the various parishes in the municipality.
